JANAM farm is a family business founded in December 2021 in St-Sixte. We are originally from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, work led us to settle in Outaouais, in the small nation and we have always been close to agriculture. The taste for wide open spaces and building a family and unifying project led us to bring the JANAM farm into the world. We specialize in raising broiler chickens, commonly called capons, on pasture. Using our rovabarn breeding robot, our chickens grow up safely in our fields, having access to fresh plots every day, and thus live on clean litter every day, which naturally fertilizes our fields. Our chickens eat a diet of quality grains, grasses and insects in a natural habitat, without hormones or medications. Our pastures are free of insecticides and pesticides and have been used for hay production for over 10 years. Our production robot helps us manage internal temperature, food, water and keeps our poultry safe. We work very hard to offer you quality products and introduce you to tasty products. *** We are certified by the Poultry Breeders of Quebec for the animal care program and for health on the farm, all in free range. We are in their program: local breeder.
