Bryson Farms, located on land that has been in the Stewart family for generations, has in the past 20 years, become the largest CERTIFIED ORGANIC producer of heirloom organic vegetables in Canada. An extensive greenhouse operation allows year-round production for weekly home-delivery to customers throughout the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Everything that Bryson Farms delivers to their current roster of over 1,200 families is hand-picked the previous day, washed, dried and packaged in biodegradable, recyclable, or re-usable containers. Bryson Farms is "sustainable agriculture" in action! To ensure that our customers receive a variety of fresh, certified organic produce during the winter months when growing anything is very costly and challenging, our "baskets"may be supplemented at that time with produce from other producers outside the region. However, the basket will never contain less that 75% of items grown on our farm. This is done on a limited basis to ensure the best service and product possible for our customers in all seasons. In recent years with the opening of our commercial processing kitchen, an Ottawa food icon, Chef Richard Nigro (formerly of “Juniper Kitchen and Wine Bar”) joined our team to create amazing and unique prepared foods which are unavailable anywhere else! We strive for “casual (and healthy) fine dining at home” for busy families! Our foods prepared are made with certified organic ingredients from our farm (and other organic farms) and contain no preservatives, additives, nitrates, artificial coloring or flavoring - in other words, they are HOME-MADE from scratch in our kitchen! Our new complete meals offer a quick dinner for two! And Chef Richard's tarts and tourtieres are nothing short of spectacular. Our prepared foods are meant to be cooked from frozen and have been specifically designed to be easy to reheat and great once cooked! And we have many dishes which follow dietary needs for vegans, vegetarians, for those who cannot consume gluten, dairy, or who require low salt diets. Enjoy!</p>
